Slow & Steady

I know.. I know... it's been a while without any updates. We had a bit of a rough weekend after Henry's surgery. He started to slip after the great results on Thursday. Saturday they found that he had an infection which was really sabotaging his recovery. He's on antibiotics. Now he has apparently "turned the corner" and is getting better after a couple day setback. He still has a lot of work to do to get back to being our beautiful baby boy.

    Thanks for the update Rob, we all know you are busy with family. All the church's in Alberton have the Becker family on their prayer chain, not including those around the country. Hopefully you can make it back for Thanksgiving and put Seattle behind you for 6 months. Henry will do fine given the circumstances.

    Oh no Rob, I'm so sorry to hear Henry had such a rough weekend after the surgery. I'm glad to hear he's "turned the corner" though as you said. I hope he continues on his upward trend. I can imagine it must be so incredibly difficult to deal with all of the stresses right now and still make time for updates.

    I say a prayer everyday for Henry to recover and grow strong, and for you, Polly, Lydia, and Liam to continue to have strength to get through this challenging time. I hate being so far away, but I'm always thinking about all of you and sending lots of positive thoughts and love your way.

    What a challenge guys. I know you have a strong family network surrounding you but if you want/need to spread the weight among friends as well, PLEASE CALL ME. I have a lot of family in the area so plenty of places to stay. I can come over for a bit and help with Lydia and Liam. Please don't hesitate to ask! I'm serious. Thinking of you always!
